Seward Park is where Seattle’s cherry blossom story began. Back in 1929, it became home to the city’s first cherry trees—a gift from Japan symbolizing friendship. The half marathon stretches along Lake Washington, while the 5k and 10k wind through the park’s lush, scenic paths.
