Soames Hill is located in Gibsons, BC and the loop is about 1.7km in total, you have 6 hours to do as many loops of Soames Hill as possible! The race starts at the parking lot at the end of Esperanza Rd. It will then take you to the east side of the hill and you go up about 400 steps to the top. Feel free to enjoy the views before heading down the west side, also known as the easy side with "only" about 300 steps. Head back to the parking lot and do it all over again and again and again. You have a total of 6 hours to get in as many loops as possible.
Does 6 hours seem like a lot?! Join up with your friends and family and make a relay team! Take turns doing the loops, do as many as you can before the next person takes over. It's all up to you! There are 2 and 4 person relay team options.
As the event is close to Halloween, participants are encourage racers to dress up and there is a prize for the best dressed racer as well.
