Race Information

The annual Westerville Hunger Heroes 5k and 1 mile run/walk is here! The course will be run in the stadium and through the flat grass areas of the school district properties. The purpose of this event is to educate and raise awareness about food insecurity issues in Westerville and around the country. All the proceeds raised will go to Westerville Area Resource Ministry's program ShareBacAPac, a charitable foundation to feed Westerville School students over the weekends and the Otterbein University's Promise House. Both programs are part of 501(C)3 organizations that focus on supporting the Westerville community and especially students who might otherwise go hungry by providing not only food but educational programs and other types of support.
