Race Information

At Fort2Base participants have a choice of two distances, a 10 nautical mile (11.5 miles) and a 3 nautical mile (3.45 miles)

The 10 nautical mile event is a point to point race, which begins at historic Fort Sheridan (Army) and ends at Foss Park, just North of Naval Station Great Lakes. The 3 nautical mile event takes place on the McClory Bike Path and ends at Foss Park, just North of Naval Station Great Lakes.

Both courses offer runners a unique glimpse into beautiful scenic vistas of the North Shore as well as the magnificence of Illinois’ great military encampments.
