Race Information
The annual Kaiwi Coast Run & Walk is a community oriented journey of approximately 4-miles along the famous Kaiwi Coast scenic highway on the island of O‘ahu, Hawai‘i. It is the only pedestrian race sanctioned for this area. Thanks to over 40 years of community involvement, the land from Hanauma Bay to Makapu‘u is protected from development. The event begins with the sunrise over the Kaiwi Chanel, a Hawaiian oli (chant) and the blowing of the pu (conch shell horn).
