The Lilac Bloomsday Run is Spokane's featured event in the spring. Founded in 1977, Bloomsday has grown to be one of the nation's premier road races, now hosting over 40,000 participants. From walkers to elite competitors, Bloomsday offers an unforgettable race experience, pridefully highlighting the city's unique landmarks, energized spectators, and the famed finisher shirt!
Run Pick of the Month - Galloping Gertie
Showcasing the best views of the Pacific Northwest, take part in a half marathon, 10K, or 5K on August 3, 2024.
Each race crosses the iconic Tacoma Narrows Bridge, known as Galloping Gertie, offering stunning views of the Puget Sound, Mount Rainier, the Olympic Mountains, and the surrounding cities of Tacoma and Gig Harbor.
Take part in one of the few races that go from one end of the bridge to the other. Plus, receive a custom finisher medal, free downloadable race photos, and a cool tech tee!
