Run along the Arroyo bike path that is lined with beautiful trees for shade and runs through the center of Simi Valley and along the Arroyo Creek, home to ducks and herons, who are soaking up the sun while playing in the gently flowing water. There will be water stations every 1.5 miles.

The Village Runner Independence Day 5K is an annual community classic that happens on the 4th of July in Redondo Beach.
Runners can expect chip timing, age division awards, cash prizes to the top three overall male and female runners in the 5K run, and a pretty great pre-race costume contest!
We like that the course is an out and back (you can try and spot your friends). We also like that a portion of all registration fees directly benefit the Redondo Beach Educational Foundation and other local schools.
