Race Information

The Turkey Trot STL 5k is a Thanksgiving race happening simultaneously in Downtown St. Louis and nearby areas including St. Charles, Eureka, and Arnold. The run is held in support of local food pantries, and participants are requested to bring a canned food item for donation when picking up their race number.

Its out-and-back section allows participants to see and cheer fellow athletes.  There's also a 1/2-mile Youth Race that runs the first and last 1/4 miles of the 5k course.  Together with the 5k course in Downtown St. Louis, the St. Charles edition of Turkey Trot STL are ideal for wheelchair athletes.

Prevent Injury & Run Your Best

One of the biggest training mistakes runners make is leaving recovery to chance.

Running demands a lot from our bodies, if we’re not keeping up with maintenance, then it will eventually break down.

The best way to prevent injury while training for an event is with targeted mobility and strength work.

Our friends at Dynamic Runner have created easy to follow routines, 15 - 20 minutes in length, that will keep you running pain free all the way to the finish line.
