2027 Basalt Half Marathon

Race Information

The Basalt Half Marathon also includes a 2-person relay and offers beautiful views and fast times on a point-to-point course.

The course starts with a ¼ mile on a dirt road. The racers will descend approximately 1,000 feet in elevation, running along the Frying Pan Road (paved), and finish in downtown Basalt at Lions Park. Aid stations will be along the way, and each mile will be marked clearly. The relay exchange zone is approximately 6.5 miles into the course, with transportation provided for each relay participant. This is one of the most beautiful courses in all of Colorado.
