Thursty Elk Trail Race
Race Information
The Thursty Elk Trail Race is a point to point adventure through a single track in the Chilliwack Community Forest, followed by a steep climb (definitely not for the faint of heart) up Gloria trail. From here, a traverse across Thurston Ridge to Elk Mountain provides splendid views of the Cascade Mountain Range before a fast and free downhill descent into Ryder Lake. This is an adrenaline pumping mountain trail adventure you won't want to miss! There is also a 5km course option for runners looking to check out the trail running scene for the first time, or just looking for a shorter and faster route with less climbing. For the kids, there's also the Three Bears 1k course.
