The Squamish 50 races are TOUGH, truly unforgettable trail running experiences that happen straight out of the recreation capital of Canada. This trail race weekend features several events that happen over the two-day weekend. Trail fanatics can enjoy options for a 23k course, 50k, or 50-mile run, or run the 50/50 (both the 50k and the 50-mile events back-to-back).
These courses are sure to take your breath away. The marquee 50-mile race boasts over 85% singletrack and more than 11,000 feet of climbing and descent. It is topped off by stunning sweeping vistas across glaciated snow-capped peaks that jut straight out of the Pacific Ocean. Run Pick of the Month - WWF Climb for Nature
Unique event happening inside BC Place on May 26, 2024.
The WWF Climb for Nature is your chance to get into the fight against wildlife loss and climate change by fundraising and climbing up and down the stairs of each section in the lower bowl of the iconic BC Place stadium.
This is the first time an event like this has ever happened inside BC Place. You can choose a single bowl climb (approx. 3,000 steps) or double bowl climb (approx. 6,000 steps).
All funds raised at the event will go towards protecting and restoring the crucial habitats of southern resident killer whales, salmon, Vancouver Island marmots and other at-risk wildlife in BC and throughout Canada.
