Bellingham Bay Marathon happens annually the last Sunday of September. The event offers a full marathon (Boston-qualifier), half marathon, 10k, 5k and full marathon relay (for teams of 2-5) options. Featuring views of Bellingham Bay, San Juan Islands, and North Cascades mountains, it is often called the most beautiful marathon in the Pacific Northwest. Come visit beautiful Bellingham and "Run the Bay!"
Beginner Runner Training Plan
Are you looking to become a runner for the first time? Coming back to running after a hiatus? Our friends at None to Run have created a gradual training plan for beginner runners!
The None to Run Beginner Plan is super gradual and achievable, no matter your starting point. In 12 weeks, you’ll be able to run 25 minutes non-stop (and actually enjoy it).
None to Run is different from most beginner plans:
