Backside Trail Marathon

Louisville, Kentucky, United States

Apr, 2027 (TBD)

Half-marathon, Marathon

Race Information

This is a trail run and is much harder than your typical marathon. Be prepared for adventure and fun! The trails are high-quality single-track, described as gently rolling, but this is subjective. If you have never run trails before, these are a great intro into trail running but don't expect to match your road time. Trail running footwear is recommended.

The Backside offers a rare opportunity to participate in a Double Down by knocking out two marathons or half marathons in one weekend. Run in the Derby Marathon, the Nashville Marathon, or any other marathon on Saturday before the Backside.
