Blanchard Beast Trail Race
Race Information
The Blanchard Beast is a Greater Bellingham Running Club (GBRC) trail race approximately 10 miles long. The race takes place on the trails of the Blanchard State Forest due South of Bellingham and offers an exciting, wooded run with over 2,000 feet of elevation gain. This race offers something in-between a 10K and a half marathon for those who are interested in pushing their max distances or as a training run for something bigger.

Each race crosses the iconic Tacoma Narrows Bridge, known as Galloping Gertie, offering stunning views of the Puget Sound, Mount Rainier, the Olympic Mountains, and the surrounding cities of Tacoma and Gig Harbor.
Take part in one of the few races that go from one end of the bridge to the other. Plus, receive a custom finisher medal, free downloadable race photos, and a cool tech tee!
