Race Information

Held annually in June, Dog Jog is one of Calgary Humane Society's signature fundraising events and is crucial in raising funds to support the thousands of animals in need that are cared for each year. The family-friendly, non-competitive walk/run is an event where your canine friend can participate too! The 2.5 km or 5 km course kicks off from the west end of South Glenmore Park - a fantastic staging area for our Barkingville Marketplace. From here the route follows city pathways along the Glenmore Reservoir and loops along the top of the scenic Weaselhead Natural Area, concluding back at the polo field.
