The SCADaddle for Research 5K run/walk raises money for much-needed research on the #1 cause of heart attacks in women under age 50 – spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD). This family-friendly fundraiser takes place at Danada Forest Preserve, along a crushed stone pathway winding through the preserve’s beautiful landscape. Refreshments and activities for the whole family follow after the race.
