Race Information

Bring your John Wayne grit to the trails and #RunToFightCancer. It’s California the way it used to be. So, bring all the grit you can muster to tackle the rugged coastal trails in John Wayne’s backyard.

The Half Marathon scenic course goes through the National Scenic Area and features dirt roads, single track trails, hills and spectacular views of Mt. Whitney, and provides three full aid stations and two water stations to keep you fueled every step of the way. The 10K course is a shorter version of the Half Marathon with the same amazing views. The course has a full aid station and a water station for your refreshment that will power you to the finish line. Both loop courses start and finish alongside Movie Road and are chip timed for those that want to race or you can go at your own pace. At the finish line, you'll be rewarded with swag and the satisfaction of knowing that you stepped up to the challenge and helped fight cancer!
