Freezin' for a Reason 5K
Freezin' For A Reason is the University of Minnesota's College of Science and Engineering Student Board's annual 5K! The race benefits Every Meal, a Twin Cities' organization dedicated to reducing food insecurity by providing kids with lunches during weekends and over breaks. Every Meal has been providing the community with meals continuously through the economic hardships of the pandemic. Freezin' for a Reason was started as a way to raise charitable funds while challenging runners to endure the frigid late November Minnesota temperatures.
This race will be hosted virtually and participants will be able to submit their results virtually on the registration site anytime during the race period. Runners who are able to visit a pick-up site located on the UMN campus will receive their swag on-site.
