DINO Trail Run Eagle Creek Park
The DINO Trail Run Series held its first race at Eagle Creek Park! Since then, it has been consistently one of the best-attended races in the series. The crowd is a blend of veteran trail runners eager to start the season and new trail runners eager to find out what it's all about.
Eagle Creek Park offers a variety of trail. The DINO course highlights this variety, from wide and gentle paths to steep hills (and a staircase or two), with a bit of narrow single-track thrown in for good measure. The loop is 5k in length; 15k runners complete three laps.
The race will start and finish at Mount Pleasant Picnic Area, providing shelter from the elements, which sometimes makes this race more interesting. An aid station about halfway around the loop will serve water and sports drink, as well as a secondary aid station when 15k runners enter their second and third lap.
