Spokane Aruna Run
The Spokane Aruna Run is hosted by the Aruna Project, a US-based international human rights non-profit dedicated to freeing, employing, and empowering survivors of human trafficking. Thanks to the generosity of local race sponsors, 100% of race registration fees and additional donations go to bring and sustain freedom to women. Race giveaway items are hand-made by Aruna Artisans, freed from the brothels and employed in our Freedom Business thanks to funds raised in previous Aruna Runs. Every participant receives a race bib with the name of an enslaved woman printed on it- you run to help bring her freedom!

Beginner Runner Training Plan
Are you looking to become a runner for the first time? Coming back to running after a hiatus? Our friends at None to Run have created a gradual training plan for beginner runners!
The None to Run Beginner Plan is super gradual and achievable, no matter your starting point. In 12 weeks, you’ll be able to run 25 minutes non-stop (and actually enjoy it).
None to Run is different from most beginner plans:
- Focuses on running time. NOT distance or pace.
- Includes simple strength and mobility workouts. No equipment required.
- Progresses slowly to decrease the chances of getting injured.
If you can't currently run for more than 5-minutes straight without stopping to catch your breath, you're in the right place.
Thousands of people have already used the None to Run plan to finally become the runner they’ve always wanted to be.
