Race Information
The Carrera por la Paz, or Race for Peace, is a 5K run/walk event organized by the Little Village Rotary Club to promote peace and anti-violence programs in Chicago’s Little Village and surrounding communities. The race will be chip-timed on a certified 5K course (IL21011NM).
The organizers are committed to ensuring everyone enjoys a safe experience on race day. In-person and virtual registration options are available.
• Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three runners in both men's and women categories.
• Award medals will be given to the top runners in various age brackets.
• All runners will receive a finisher medal and Race Day Event T-Shirt.
