Against the Tide is a family-friendly, multi-sport event by the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC). MBCC is the only non-profit in the state dedicated to the prevention of breast cancer from environmental causes. The funds raised through Against the Tide help support and expand MBCC's community education program. This event has options for the 5K and 10K runs and a 3-mile walk. Other events include a 1-mile recreational or competitive swim, ½-mile recreational swim, and 1-mile USMS sanctioned swim.
