Race Information

With individual races for Masters, Age Group runners, Party People, and Elites, the Carlsbad 5000 is a full day of road racing on the scenic, coastal streets of Carlsbad, California. Stick around all day to cheer on friends, competitors, and pros. Afterward, enjoy live music and post-race celebrations. The course features nearly two miles along the coast with an exciting, spectator-friendly finish in the heart of Carlsbad.

There is also a Junior Carlsbad race for the young ones and the RAD (Run All Day) 20K event which is limited to just 500 runners. Whether you want to jog a warm up 5K before you set a new PR in the next race, or if you are just all about the miles and want to run every race of the day, the Run All Day 20K might be for you!
