Race Information
San Diego’s fastest and most scenic half marathon. Run from the Cabrillo National Monument atop the tip of Point Loma, along San Diego Bay, Harbor Island, Embarcadero, past the Star of India, through downtown San Diego to a rousing finish in historic Balboa Park. Expect a great day of racing along San Diego Bay with 7,000+ runners! Fun fact! The AFC half marathon is part of the half marathon triple crown series.

Enjoy miles of fast and flat stretches, bay views, and ocean breezes on November 2, 2024.
With a Half Marathon and 5K, both courses feature a scenic loop route around San Diego's water wonderland, Mission Bay.
All runners will score a tech participant fee and a finisher medal unique to each distance.
