Race Information
Voted one of the top ten marathons in the United States, the Twin Cities Marathon is a welcoming race for first-timers and competitive runners alike. Featuring a diverse field that includes professionals, 30% of the runners are running their first marathon while 13% of the run times qualify for the Boston Marathon.
The point-to-point course starts in Minneapolis and ends in St. Paul, and runners get the full beauty of the Twin Cities. The course passes four different lakes, runs along both sides of the Mississippi River, and has no climbs longer than 100 feet.
