This is a fundraiser for the Fond du Lac Area United Way.
The main 5K Run/Walk is a chip-timed event and the kids' races (1/3 mile and 1 mile) happen afterward. There will be Halloween giveaways, snacks, and beverages immediately following the race, plus awards for top runners and prize drawings for costumes!
Beginner Runner Training Plan
Are you looking to become a runner for the first time? Coming back to running after a hiatus? Our friends at None to Run have created a gradual training plan for beginner runners!
The None to Run Beginner Plan is super gradual and achievable, no matter your starting point. In 12 weeks, you’ll be able to run 25 minutes non-stop (and actually enjoy it).
None to Run is different from most beginner plans:
- Focuses on running time. NOT distance or pace.
- Includes simple strength and mobility workouts. No equipment required.
- Progresses slowly to decrease the chances of getting injured.
