The Rising's course is an out and back route that runs along the Cross Seminole Trail and past many important Oviedo landmarks. The trail was once the railroad that helped Oviedo become one of the country's largest supplier of watercress and celery.
Come dressed in costume as part of the costume contest and hang out afterward for a community-driven post-race festival, featuring live music, free food, and many interactive and educational exhibit booths.
