The Canaan Valley Running Company hosts the annual Canaan Valley Trail Run in Canaan Valley State Park. This race will take place on the Promise Land Trail and will be a fun, fast, and exciting race for runners of all levels. The Promise Land Trail starts and finishes directly behind Canaan Valley Resort and is approximately 5.9 miles, with a one-loop 5.9 mile and a 2 Loop 11.8 mile option.
