The D'Evelyn DASH is D'Evelyn Education Foundation's BIG kick OFF to the school year and a key fundraiser for the Foundation, a 501(C) 3 NON-PROFIT.
Proceeds from the DASH benefit arts, activities, athletics, and academics at D'Evelyn Jr/Sr High School. Help them keep this tradition alive by participating in this year's D'Evelyn DASH edition, whether in person or virtually, for the 5K / 2K Run/Walk. Escape the pavement and go DASH in the Dirt. Beginner Runner Training Plan
Are you looking to become a runner for the first time? Coming back to running after a hiatus? Our friends at None to Run have created a gradual training plan for beginner runners!
The None to Run Beginner Plan is super gradual and achievable, no matter your starting point. In 12 weeks, you’ll be able to run 25 minutes non-stop (and actually enjoy it).
None to Run is different from most beginner plans:
- Focuses on running time. NOT distance or pace.
- Includes simple strength and mobility workouts. No equipment required.
- Progresses slowly to decrease the chances of getting injured.
If you can't currently run for more than 5-minutes straight without stopping to catch your breath, you're in the right place.
