Race Information

The Race For Hope Derriere Dash is a 5k run/walk and 1-mile walk for colorectal cancer awareness. How will you dress your Derriere for the Dash? Join other participants to remember, bring hope, and take action against colorectal cancer.

The Race For Hope was founded in 2004 when Carleen Taylor promised her friend Peggy that she would help her raise awareness that colorectal cancer occurs in those under 50 years old. Peggy was diagnosed when she was 42 years old. Peggy passed away at 45 years old, three weeks before the first race.
