The Warrior 5K & 8K...Through the Park is designed to be a unique opportunity for all running enthusiasts, offering the competitive feel of a cross-country race/trail run in late fall. Sign up in teams of four to earn team awards or race as an individual. Run, walk, jog, or "race." All are welcome to come and enjoy beautiful Greenfield Park. This event serves as a fundraiser and community outreach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College cross-country teams, and a portion of the proceeds benefit a local charity.

Beginner Runner Training Plans

Are you looking to become a runner for the first time? Coming back to running after a hiatus? Our friends at None to Run have created a gradual training plan for beginner runners!

In 3 workouts of 30 minutes or less per week, None to Run will take you from ground zero to running comfortably for 25 minutes straight.

None to Run is different from most beginner plans:

  • Focuses on running time. NOT distance or pace.
