The “Santa Run Silicon Valley” is a 5K Run/Walk that is fun for the whole family. The event features both a 5k run/walk and kids fun runs with shorter distances that happen before the 5k event. The race was founded to contribute to the local programs of Christmas in the Park, Downtown Ice and Reading Partners.
If you're looking to dress up this is a good event for it. The organizers encourage runners to come as their favorite holiday character or tradition; Santa, Mrs. Claus, the Grinch, reindeer, elves, dreidel, menorah, ornaments, tree, candlestick.... you get the idea!
The race course winds through downtown San Jose and concludes at Christmas in the Park, where you can enjoy the festivities with Santa's milk and cookies!
