The Southern Colorado Runners Club and The Pueblo Chieftain welcome you to the annual Pueblo Chieftain Spring Runoff, Pueblo’s oldest and largest running event. Since 1978, The Pueblo Chieftain, southern Colorado’s leading newspaper, has supported and sponsored this yearly springtime race. A portion of race proceeds benefit their chosen charity.

This event offers 3 races of varying distances that should appeal to a wide variety of runners.  The 5K, 10K, and 10-mile race courses all incorporate the beautiful Arkansas River Trail, beginning and ending at Dutch Clark Stadium.
