Jerry Carroll MSA Awareness 5K
This 5K honors the life of Jerry Carroll, who lost his battle with a rare and terminal disease known as Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). The run aims to help increase awareness of MSA (Multiple Systems Atrophy) and to raise "seed money" funds needed for research and fund grant proposals for the MSA Alliance Foundation.
Jerry was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to so many and is deeply missed. He enjoyed life and loved to be active. Whether he was golfing, jogging/biking, coaching his kids in sports, or enjoying a family vacation, you could always find him outdoors. Jerry was one of the most charismatic and friendly guys around; you could usually catch him with a gentle smile and nod, as he enjoyed the company of his family and friends within the North Forsyth community and metro Atlanta area.
