Running since 1979, Women's Distance Festiva is a 5K trail race organized by Pikes Peak Road Runners. This is a fundraiser event held at the North Monument Valley Park. All proceeds go to Girls on the Run, a non-profit organization working to empower girls between ages 8-13 through running.
The event welcomes both male and female participants and has awards for both in all age groups. All finishers get commemorative water bottles.
