Race The Wolf
Race the Wolf ultramarathon and trail race series is a two-day event with a course for everyone. Choose from four distances: the Sky Climb (a vertical 1-mile with 1,660 feet of gain over one mile straight uphill) and 8km trail races, and the 26k and 52km ultramarathon.
Located at Schweitzer Mountain Resort, this course naturally boasts steep climbs, really fun single track, and some super fast two-track. Not to mention the epic views that stretch from Lake Pend Oreille to Montana and the Canadian border. This is North Idaho's rugged, scenic beauty at its best. You won't be disappointed!
Beginner Runner Training Plan
Are you looking to become a runner for the first time? Coming back to running after a hiatus? Our friends at None to Run have created a gradual training plan for beginner runners!
The None to Run Beginner Plan is super gradual and achievable, no matter your starting point. In 12 weeks, you’ll be able to run 25 minutes non-stop (and actually enjoy it).
None to Run is different from most beginner plans:
- Focuses on running time. NOT distance or pace.
- Includes simple strength and mobility workouts. No equipment required.
- Progresses slowly to decrease the chances of getting injured.
If you can't currently run for more than 5-minutes straight without stopping to catch your breath, you're in the right place.
