The Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot is an annual 5K fun run in Elmhurst (jsut outside of Chciago) on Thanksgiving. Thousands of runners come to help eradicate hunger in DuPage county. It is not just a good cause, for many a Thanksgiving tradition. Some dress up in fun costumes, some just walk to support the cause, but nothing brings out the town, as well as out of towners, like the Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot.
