Kick off your Mother’s Day celebration by soaking in the inspirational power of the sunflower as you run or walk-through thousands of peak-blooming sunflowers at Gilcrease Orchard. Free fresh-cut sunflowers for everyone, along with sunflower medals for all 5K and 10K runners. The race also includes a Kids Sunflower Fairy Stroll, an approximate 1-mile stroll through Gilcrease Orchard’s massive sunflower field where they will meet and say hello to a few live sunflower fairies (aka, great local actresses) living in the fields.
