The Philadelphia Distance Run was founded in 1978 and is one of the fastest Half Marathon courses in the country. The race features a flat course through the heart of Philadelphia and along the scenic Schuylkill River and finishes in front of the iconic Philadelphia Museum of Art. Runners can choose between the Half Marathon or 5K option. All runners receive a shirt, medal, and complimentary beverage from a sponsor.
