Rapid Ascent's Trail Running Series is all about making trail running accessible to as many people as possible. You don’t need years of experience or all the latest gear! All you need is a come-and-try-it attitude and a bit of fitness to get around the course. All races are designed to be fun, scenic, and rewarding for all runners, with a friendly event atmosphere that is truly welcoming to everyone.
The start/finish area for Race #2 is at the Yellow Gum Park picnic area located at the end of Goldsworthy Lane beside Blue Lake. The nearby lookout provides panoramic views of Plenty Gorge and the surrounding parkland and should keep families and friends busy whilst runners are off enjoying the trails.
Participants have the option to join the short course (7k), medium course (13k), and long course (18k).
