Race Information

The UC Irvine Anti-Cancer Challenge is a community movement to raise awareness and funds for critical cancer research at the UCI Health Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. One hundred percent of the money participants raise is directed toward promising pilot studies and early-phase clinical trials conducted by renowned UCI physician-scientists who will stop at nothing to defeat all forms of the disease.

On Challenge Day, the event features a 5K run/walk, 14-, 35-, 60-, and 100-mile bike routes, a mountain bike route, and a family-friendly festival with live entertainment, awards, and more.

You can also participate virtually! Ride, run, or walk, and celebrate the movement to defeat cancer! Use the hashtag #anticancerchallenge on social media.
