Runners and walkers of the Katy 5k will love the unique course that takes them through the Uptown streets of Dallas onto the beautiful Katy Trail. Fun surprises along the Trail will include Katy Trail Art sculptures between Cambrick Plaza and Snyder’s Union – a great opportunity for race selfies! Enjoy free food from 30+ restaurants, live music at the finish line celebration, and more!

By participating in the Friends of Kity Trail's largest event fundraiser, you help bring security patrols, lights, water, organic landscaping, and maintenance repairs to the Katy Trail  The Trail is community-funded, and the Katy 5K is the most fun way to show your love for the Katy Trail!

 

Beginner Runner Training Plans

Are you looking to become a runner for the first time? Coming back to running after a hiatus? Our friends at None to Run have created a gradual training plan for beginner runners!

In 3 workouts of 30 minutes or less per week, None to Run will take you from ground zero to running comfortably for 25 minutes straight.
