The Winnipeg Police Services Half Marathon began in 2005 and is a major supporter of the Canadian Cancer Society. It's one of the few events that allows any type of runner, regardless of their physical ability, to participate. That means you can take the time to complete the course on your own time. "No person has been left behind on the course."
If you'd like to run the half marathon with someone else, you can choose to do the two-person relay. Alternatively, there is a 5k course option as well.
