Sierra County's Annual 5K: Run/Walk for Hope is brought to you by Sierra Vista Hospital and Clinics. This event is held in partnership with Sierra County Cancer Assistance and the City of Elephant Butte.

The overall goal is to raise significant funds and promote awareness for the breast cancer movement. During the run, commemoration will also partake for survivorship and for those that have succumb to their battle with the disease. This year's event will take place during Elephant Day, the run will precede the parade.
