Racers run half a 5k, stop to down a pint of Vermont-made ice cream, then finish out the race! Are you up for the challenge? (Fun runners do not have to finish a pint.) The race route starts at Battery Park in Burlington and goes up the bike path along beautiful Lake Champlain. All proceeds go to People Helping People Global - an international zero-interest microlending organization based in VT.
