Condors Fun Run
Run, walk or roll (wheelchairs, no bikes!) the 5K route starting and ending at the Bell Sensplex to raise money for the Capital City Condors!
The Condors are a family of ice hockey teams for those who are unable to play on any other hockey team due to a cognitive and/or physical disability. The program is a highly rewarding experience for the players, parents, and volunteers as children, youth, and young adults who once only dreamed of playing on a hockey team see their dreams come true and their abilities progress.
Beginner Runner Training Plan
Are you looking to become a runner for the first time? Coming back to running after a hiatus? Our friends at None to Run have created a gradual training plan for beginner runners!
The None to Run Beginner Plan is super gradual and achievable, no matter your starting point. In 12 weeks, you’ll be able to run 25 minutes non-stop (and actually enjoy it).
None to Run is different from most beginner plans:
- Focuses on running time. NOT distance or pace.
- Includes simple strength and mobility workouts. No equipment required.
- Progresses slowly to decrease the chances of getting injured.
If you can't currently run for more than 5-minutes straight without stopping to catch your breath, you're in the right place.
