Carolina Brain Aneurysm 5K/Fun Run
Race Information
Join The Bee Foundation in its mission to raise awareness for brain aneurysms and increase funding for innovative research that changes lives at the Carolina Brain Aneurysm 5K/Fun Run in memory of Ellie Helton.
Ellie was a vibrant, loving 4-year old who passed away on July 16, 2014, as a result of a ruptured brain aneurysm. Ellie loved God, her family and friends, superheroes, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, and pizza. She was a unique spirit who loved life, was accepting of others and persevered in everything she tried. Her family and friends miss her every day and were blessed to have had her in their lives. Since 2015, the Helton family has sponsored a race in Ellie's memory and have raised over $280K for Brain Aneurysm Prevention.
