Race Information

Every step has a story. The Kunanyi Mountain Run is a trail running festival celebrating Hobart’s mountain culture, bringing trail runners, adventurers, and the wider community together to feel the power of connection with Kunanyi/Mount Wellington. The race offers distance options from the Foothills 5km (also a 9km and 14k options) all the way to a 66km ultra-marathon (solo or for teams of up to 6 members), and everything in between: the iconic Mountain Run (or hike) 25km, the Alpine Marathon 46km and a 9km 'Vertical Downhill" challenge, as well as kids runs.
