The Canning River Runningworks Festival was born out of the organizers' desire to create a run where spectators and supporters could cheer on their friends and family members in a fun and friendly atmosphere. This event runs alongside the Canning River from start to finish of your run, and the course is extremely well-shaded.

The Barossa Marathon Festival is held every year starting in the scenic vineyard-surrounded Tanunda.
