Perth is the perfect host to amazing races, including the Perth Marathon, Bridges Fun Run, and the Swan River Half Marathon. With the incredible growth in ultramarathon events and runners over the last few years in Western Australia, it was only time that a new temptation was to arrive.
Enter Ultra Perth, an IAU-labelled, World Athletics – AIMS Certified 50km course that takes in the best of the best that Perth has to offer.
With 50km and Half Marathon options available, the course takes runners on a flat and fast course from Bayswater to East Perth, over the Matagarup Bridge, the Causeway, Elizabeth Quay to Nedlands, down through the Narrows to Deepwater Point, and finishing back on the South Perth Foreshore with the most stunning of backdrops.
